DIY: zucche portachiavi -pumpkin keychain-

Visto che l'autunno è stato così bravo ed è arrivato puntuale puntuale, e che in casa già si intonano filastrocche su foglie che cadono e nasini che colano, oggi 'tingiamo' il blog d'arancione con un simpatico tutorial.

Quindi, oggi tutorial su come realizzare dei piccoli accessori a forma di zucca per decorare gli zainetti dei nostri bimbi. ^_^

Pronte? Si parte!

Per questo progetto non occorrono molte cose (elenco materiali in foto!), e comunque come dico sempre laddove qualcosa manca in casa andate di fantasia e riciclatericiclatericiclate (anche io l'ho fatto:-)), d'altronde l'obiettivo non è vincere un premio ma strappare un sorriso ai nostri piccini e sentirsi così doppiamente soddisfatte.

Ritagliate due ovali dal pannolenci arancio. Piegate a metà il pannolenci nero per ricavare la bocca. Con del filo nero cucite la bocca sull'ovale arancione.

            Cut two oval shapes from orange felt. Fold in half the black felt to form the mouth. With black thread sew the mouth on orange oval shape.

Al di sopra della bocca, col filo in doppio, realizzate due X per fare gli occhi. Con il pannolenci verde realizzate un piccolo gambo. Con la biro scrivete sulla fettuccia grogre' 'Trick or Treat', tagliate la fettuccia (5-6 cm) superiormente con le forbici a lama liscia e inferiormente con le forbici zig zag. Sovrapponete posteriormente il secondo disco arancione e con il filo dello stesso colore realizzare 4 cuciture parallele ed equidistanti muovendovi con l'ago dal dietro verso avanti e contrario (no c'è bisogno di essere precisi, in fondo le zucche non sono regolarissime!

Sfilacciate il cotone ed inseritelo solo nelle 3 anse centrali appena formate aiutandovi con la penna. Partendo dall'alto iniziate a chiudere il lavoro con il punto festone. Attenzione, prima di chiudere i lati della zucca con il punto festone  inserite il cotone e poi continuate a cucire. Ricordate anche di dover cucire nel lavoro la fettuccia grogrè (ad un estremità inferiore) ed il gambo (superiormente).

Aprite gli anellini, uniteli al moschettone cuciteli superiormente vicino il gambo. Fermate il filo e nascondetelo nel lavoro e tagliate l'eccesso.

               Open the rings, add them to snap-hook and  sew it at  the top near the stem. Stop the thread, hide in the work and cut the excess.

Voilà, zucchetta pronta!

Auguri nonni! -Grandparents Day-

Il 2 Ottobre è una ricorrenza speciale che qualunque giovane mamma come me non può permettersi di dimenticare.

I Nonni sono fondamentali per noi genitori, sempre impegnati, sempre di corsa... cosa si farebbe senza la loro pronta disponibilità?

Granparents are essential for us parents, always busy, always rate race... what we would do without their ready availability?

Questa mattina insieme ai miei cuccioli ho deciso di 'strappare' un sorriso speciale ai miei genitori (che ho la fortuna di avere vicini, anzi no, vicinissimi!).

Un po' di carta colorata, sempre presente in casa mia, colla, un pennarello e del pratico nastro adesivo per realizzare due doni personalizzati. Un fiore per la nonna e un simpatico paio di baffi con papillon per il nonno, entrambi fissati su due stecche in legno.

Complice la pioggia incessante li abbiamo trovati ancora a casa! (i nonni, si sà, sono tutti mattinieri ^_^)

           This morning with my babies, I decided to 'rip' a special smile to my parents (who I'm lucky to have neighbors, nay, very close).

A bit  of colored paper, always present in my home, glue, a marker and an handy tape to make two personalized gifts. A flower for grandma and a nice mustache and bow tie for grandfather, both fixed on two wooden slats.

Thanks to the incessant rain we found them still at home! (...grandparents, you know, are all early risers ^_^)

Una collana riciclata -Recover necklace-

Vi è mai capitato di terminare un lavoro e non essere completamente soddisfatti?

Have you ever finished a work and not be completely satisfied?

Questa nuova collana è un auto-riciclo, nasce cioè dalla scomposizione di un lavoro precedente che non mi aveva dato molta soddisfazione già da subito. Una sorta di redesign (tipo quelli che mi facevano fare da ragazza al liceo... che ricordi...^_^).

            This new necklace is a self-resycle, born to division in its elements of a previous work that I didn't like so much. A sort of redesign (like those I did when I was young woman in high school... what memory...^_^)

Il tubolare di perline rocailles (8/0) è stato ottenuto lavorando le stesse al crochet con filo di cotone doppio bianco e senape bruciato. Una tecnica adorabile ma che non ammette errori! (se non la conosci ancora guarda il tutorial qui). A chiudere il lavoro due coppette aperte che simulano i petali di un fiore. Un filo di rame misura 0,8 mantiene 'in forma' questo girocollo dove del semplice ed elegante nastro in raso color terra funge da 'chiusura' regolabile.

            Tubular was obtained working seed beads (8/0) through crochet technique with double cotton thread in white and mustard colours. This stitch techniques is adorable but does not allow distraction! (if you doesn't know crochet technique click here to watch my video-tutorial). Tubular work is closed by two open small cup that seem flower petals. Gold copper strand -0,8- keep this necklace in its form and a simple and elegant ribbon of satin earth colored, function as adjustable lock.

Lo stesso nastro fa da pendente all'importante disco di Cloisonnè e alla bellissima pietra di Fluorite verde, anche questa presa parecchio tempo fa ma ferma in scatola in attesa di una giusta collocazione.

            The same ribbon was used how pendant for Cloisonnè disc and the wonderful green Fluorite, also this stone bought a long time ago, stopped in its box, waiting for the right place.

Per ora sono soddisfatta e mi fermo qui. A presto!!
