Questi orecchini mi hanno detto fin da subito come volevano essere fotografati, di sera e con un look total black. Sono estremamente fascinosi ed eleganti quindi le alternative erano poche e chiare. E così una sera io e Federica siamo uscite prima di una vera uscita serale con le amiche. Direzione piazza Sant'Alfonso.

These earrings have told me right away as they wanted to be photographed, of evening with a total black dress. They are extremely fascinating and elegant then the alternatives were few and clear. And so one night Federica and I went out to the city, before a real night out with our girlfriends. Our direction: Piazza S. Alfonso.

Era la prima volta che provavo a fotografare i gioielli di notte quindi, dita incrociate abbiamo iniziato a scattare e il risultato non era malvagio. Del resto non sono una che sa molto di fotografia quindi abbiate pietà di me. Se mio marito leggerà questo post dirà 'Si ma hai studiato il manuale Canon che ti ho scaricato?' Nooooo! Non ho (mai) tempo. Comunque, non mi posso lamentare primo perché la mia modella è stata fantastica (come al solito), secondo perché questo colore fluo è difficilissimo da rendere.

It was the first time I tried to take photos of my jewels at night, so with fingers crossed we started shooting and the result was not bad. After all I am not one who knows a lot about photography, so please, have mercy on me. If my husband will read this post will say 'Yes, but did you study the Canon manual that I've downloaded ?' Nooooo! I don't have (ever) time. However, I can't complain because first my model was fantastic (as usual), and secondly because this fluorescent color is very difficult to make.

Orecchini con frange verde fluo -Earrings fringed green-

Ciao! Oggi vi parlo di loro, di questi orecchini fluo verdi molto glam ed eleganti. Li ho chiamati Priest perché la loro forma richiama quella di un sacerdote in tunica e in verità li avevo in mente da quando ho realizzato loro.

Hello! Today I speak of them, of these green fluorescent earrings very glam and stylish. I've called Priest why their shape remind me that of a priest in robes, and actually I had in mind since I realize these.

Orecchini 'Priest' con frange e perline 

-'Priest' earrings with fringes and beads-

Allora, vi spiego subito come son fatti.

Ho cercato di rendere questo gioiello completamente handmade realizzandolo con cura e rendendo unico ogni dettaglio. Sono partita dalle frange, tagliandole a mano da un lungo filo di corda, un lavoraccio ripagato dal fatto che la corda era meravigliosamente perfetta. Successivamente sono passata a cucire il sopra realizzando un doppio abitino, un particolare carré in nero composto da quattro punte che terminano con dei piccoli vetri a goccia e un colletto di perline rocailles verde rainbow.  Per entrambi ho utilizzato alternativamente le tecniche peyote ed herringbone.

Then, I describe them to you right away.

I tried to make this jewel completely handmade, realizing it carefully and making every single details by myself. I started from the fringes, cutting them by hand by a long green rope, an hard work paid off by the fact that the rope was wonderfully perfect .

Later I have sew the upper part of the earrings making a double "dress", a particular black geometric shape with four ends ending in small glass drops, and a collar of beads rocailles in green rainbow colors. For both works I utilized peyote and herringbone techniques.

Per il perno ho scelto delle rocailles di colore nero da lavorare a cerchio avanti e dietro. Una rondella di cristallo nero sfaccettato unisce tra loro tutti i componenti.

To cover the pin I have chose black round beads working them in circle. Black crystal faceted join togheterr all components.

Tassel and fringe

Questa settimana full immersion nel fantastico mondo fatto di scatoline-forbicine-aghi (storti) e filo. Aaaaaah, che meraviglia. Non so come sia possibile ma sto davvero bene in loro compagnia. Comunque, finalmente dopo giorni passati a rielaborare cose al pc (che tra l'altro ancora mi abbandona) a fare cambiamenti qua e la con photoshop e company ho ripreso a sperlinare. Così sono riuscita a replicare qualcosa per me, cose piccole, anche se vorrei "rifarmi" un bel po' di accessori, e a fare qualcosa di nuovo. E allora eccoli qua gli orecchini frangiosi, perché le frange insieme alle perline sono diventate il mio must di quest'anno (adoroadoroadoro).

    This week full immersion in the fantastic world of boxes-scissors-needles (crooked) and thread. Aaaaaah, how wonderful. I don't know how it is possible but I'm really fine with them. Anyway, finally after days spent to rework things to pc (which by the way still leaves me), to make changes here and there with photoshop and company I started beading. So I replicated something to me, small things, even if I would make a lot of accessories, and something new. So here they are, the new earrings with tassel, because the fringes together with beads have become my must this year (love it).

Cobalt | orecchini con nappa lunga/long tassel earrings

Degli orecchini molto glam composti da una nappa lunghissima fatta a mano da me nel fantastico colore blu cobalto. Il perno l'ho realizzato lavorando insieme con diverse tecinche perline delica e drop per ottenere un effetto tipo caramella morbida. La pietra dura al centro è una stupenda Agata blu lace. Vi dico subito che questo è uno degli orecchini che avrei replicato per me immediatamente accorciando un pò la nappa dato che purtroppo non sono una giraffona. 

    A pair of earrings made from a very glam long tassel handmade by me, in great cobalt blue. To realize the stud earrings I work together with different techniques Delica and Drop beads to get a toffee effect. The stone in the center is a beautiful Agate blue lace. I tell you now that this is one of the earrings that I wanted immediately to me, but shortening the tassel because unfortunately I don't have a beautiful long neck.

Fuchsia | orecchini con perline e nappa/earrings with beads and tassel

Sempre con nappa realizzata a mano fanno molto estate secondo me proprio grazie a questo bel colore fucsia acceso che mi ricorda quello vivace di molti fiori. Il perno ovale e bombato è stato realizzato con un unico tipo di perline color avorio perlato che rende nel complesso questo accessorio femminile divertente e affascinate. Le tecniche per ottenere il perno sono (sempre) loro, peyote ed Herringbone. Aggiungo anche che questi sono gli orecchini più cliccati nel mio Etsy shop quindi deduco che anche voi quest'anno siete nappa-addicted!

    Always with an handmade tassel these earrings are very summer for me thanks to this beautiful color bright fuchsia that reminds me the color of many vibrant flowers. The stud-earrings is covered by a rotund made from a single type of beaded in ivory color pearl that makes this accessory in the complex very female, fun and fascinating. The techniques I have utilized to realize this stud earrings are alwais peyote and Herringbone. I would also add that these are the earrings Top in my Etsy shop, so I assume that you're tassel-addicted too this year!

E poi ci sono loro, esuberanti e colorati sono stati ispirati dallo stile urban e dalla moda street style. Di questi vado davvero fiera perché parlano di me in ogni piccolo pezzo che li compone, dal perno triangolare di perline dorate al cabochon al centro del lavoro alle frange, ogni cosa è stata realizzata a mano. 

    And then there are these exuberant and colorful earrings inspired  by urban and fashion street style. I really proud of these because they speak of me in every little piece that composes them, from the triangular golden stud-earrings to the cabochon in the center of the work at the fringes, everything was made by hand.
