Quest'anno
come avete deciso di realizzare il vostro albero? Qui da noi le parole d'ordine
sono state riciclo e fatto a mano (of course).
Questo
appuntamento è stato atteso con impazienza da mio figlio Edo da quando l'anno
scorso ha partecipato attivamente, con ago e filo, nel realizzare le
decorazioni in feltro.
How have you decided to make your tree this year? Here in my
house, the watchwords are recycle and handmade (of course).
My first son waited with impatience for this event, since last year he has
been actively involved, with needle and thread, in making felt decorations.

Aveva
incominciato a chiedermi insistentemente quando avremmo 'ricominciato'...
Allora la mia mente si è messa subito all'opera per cercare qualcosa di nuovo, semplice
e divertente che ci tenesse tutti e tre uniti e impegnati nel pomeriggio. L'idea
è arrivata immediatamente anche perché con due bambini piccoli non ci poteva
essere cosa migliore della CARTA.
He began to ask insistently "when do we start?"... Then my mind was immediately put to work to try something new,
fun and easy that held us all togheter in the afternoon. The
idea came immediately because with two small children there isn't something
better than the PAPER.

Per
rendere il "gioco" a impatto ambientale zero ho scelto di utilizzare
la carta delle mie riviste lette (I love 'Grazia'!): cosa c'è di più bello e
liberatorio per un bimbo dello strappare via tanti fogli senza venir
rimproverato? E così a ogn'uno di noi è toccato un compito.
Abbiamo
strappato, tagliato infilato tanti fazzoletti di carta su un gomitolo di lana (io
ne ho usato uno di lana bianca con all'interno un filo dorato) per creare un
nastro lunghissimo che girasse tutto intorno all'albero (il tutto lo si puo'
fare senza tagliare il filo, così potrete riciclare nuovamente la lana a feste
concluse ;-)).

We ripped, cut and thread so many pieces of paper on a wollen yarn (I used a
white yarn with a golden thread) to create a long tape that was revolved all
around the tree (you can do it without breaking the thread so you can recycle
again the wool when all will be finished ;-)).
Poi
abbiamo formato delle palle accartocciate che abbiamo decorato con dei washi tape
natalizi e filo di lana rosso e bianco.
Then
we have formed balls of paper and decorated them it with christmas washitape and
red and white woolen thread.
Le
copertine delle riviste essendo più rigide sono state messe da parte per andare
poi a formare delle deliziose stelle tridimensionali (confesso, qui il
divertimento è stato solo mio, i cuccioli hanno osservato il tutto incantati).
The magazines covers were stiffer so they were put
aside and then utilized to form adorable three-dimensional stars (I confess,
here the fun has been just mine, the puppies have observed me enchanted).

necessario per realizzare le decorazioni/Materials
needed to make the decorations:
- 6 copertine di riviste rigide o semirigide/6 magazine covers rigid or semi-rigid
- 2-3 riviste (dipende dalla grandezza del vostro albero) per nastro decorativo e palle di natale/2-3 magazines (depends on the size of your tree) to create the decorative ribbon and christmas balls
- 2 gomitolo di lana (rosso e bianco)/2 balls of yarn ( red and white)
- washi tape natalizi/Christmas washi tape
- forbici a lama liscia/scissors blade smooth
- forbici a lama zig-zag scissor/blade zig - zag
- ago per lana/needle wool
