Piccoli pianeti di Madreperla -Small planets of Mother of pearl-

Lo avevo stabilito da tempo, a Settembre si ricomincia. Non perché la voglia di fare mi abbia mai abbandonato, è che come ripeto sempre, mi è praticamente impossibile concentrarmi quando ho i pupetti di mezzo, e poi finché il tempo ce lo ha permesso siamo stati al mare, praticamente ogni giorno. Beh, loro sono sempre con me anche oggi, anche ora, e quindi con estrema calma, e pazienza aggiungerei, incomincio a essere 'produttiva'.

            I had decided it a few time ago, I'll restarted in September.  My wish of bead never left, but, as I keep repeating, it's impossible to focus on my work with my babies around, and then  until time us afforted  we have gone to the beach, practically everyday. So, they are with me everyday, even now, so with extreme calm, and patience I should add, I begin to be productive.

Ho scelto di lavorare ad un vecchio progetto dove protagonisti sono il bianco perlato delle Madreperle e la tecnica Brick Stitch. Qualcosa di molto semplice, due giri di perline rocailles e charlottè lavorate con del filo bianco intorno ad una perla di madreperla sembrano creare un pianeta.

            I have decided to work on an old project where pearl white of the Mother of pearl and Brick Stitch technique are the protagonists. Something extremely simple, two rows of beads rocailles and charlottè worked with white thread surrounding a bead of mother of pearl that seem to create a planet.

Giusto per darvi un idea, ecco cosa c'é ai miei piedi  mentre 'cerco' di lavorare. Praticamente sono circondata...

Qui da me sole e caldo non danno tregua da diversi giorni quindi si, finalmente estate! Io quest'anno non mi "muovo" se non per andare in spiaggia con la mia famiglia.

Oggi sono completamente in versione mamma ed io ed il mio piccolo ci siamo dati alla "pittura" dei trofei post-passeggiate in riva.

            Here, sun and hot do not stop from different days so yes, is finally summer! This year I 'm not going anywhere I'm just going to the beach with my family.

Today I'm completely in mom-version and my little baby and I have painted the trophies post seaside walking.

Orecchini cabochon e tessitura di perline -Earrings cabochon and beads stitch-

Una spirale soutache nasconde il perno di questi orecchini che sono un concentrato di tecniche di tessitura con perline. C'è ne sono ben tre, la tecnica soutache, la tecnica del punto mattone o brick sitch, e la tecnica RAW (Rigth-Angol-Weave).

            A spiral soutache hide these stud earrings that are a concentration of beads stitch techniques. There are well three, soutache technique, brick stitch technique and RAW (Rigth-Angol-Weave).

L'obiettivo era quello di incastonare questo cabochon (realizzato un pò di tempo fa con pasta polimerica e decorato con inchiostro e pigmenti), con una tecnica un po' diversa, meno "romantica" e un po' più lineare diciamo. Per ottenere questo "allineamento" di perline la scelta è caduta sul punto mattone. L'effetto finale è un po' quello di un incastonatura che sembra uno pneumatico, non vi pare? :-)

            My target was mount this cabochon (made some time ago with polymer clay and decorated with ink and pigments), with a different technique, less "romantic" and a little bit more linear, as to say. To obtain this "alignment" of beads my choise is fall on brick stitch. Final effect is that of a mount that look like a tire, do you seem?

E per rimanere sulla stessa "linea" (perdonatemi il gioco di parole...) ho deciso di creare una goccia aperta realizzando un tubolare RAW, e di "riempire" i vuoti che questa lascia con delle perline Delica.

            To stay on the same "line" (forgive me for the worlplay...) I have decided to realize a open drop with tubular RAW, and to fill up the empty that this technique lost with Delica beads.

  

La moda di quest'anno ci permette di giocare con moltissimi colori, in particolare con quelli fluo, così ho deciso di contrastare e allo stesso tempo mettere in risalto il giallo di questi cabochon con i colori nero e rosa fucsia.

Che mi dite, vi ho ispirato un pochino?

            The style of this year uses many colours, in particular fluorescent tonalities, so I have decided to contrast and stand out the yellow of these cabochons with black and pink colours.
