Questi orecchini mi hanno detto fin da subito come volevano essere fotografati, di sera e con un look total black. Sono estremamente fascinosi ed eleganti quindi le alternative erano poche e chiare. E così una sera io e Federica siamo uscite prima di una vera uscita serale con le amiche. Direzione piazza Sant'Alfonso.

These earrings have told me right away as they wanted to be photographed, of evening with a total black dress. They are extremely fascinating and elegant then the alternatives were few and clear. And so one night Federica and I went out to the city, before a real night out with our girlfriends. Our direction: Piazza S. Alfonso.

Era la prima volta che provavo a fotografare i gioielli di notte quindi, dita incrociate abbiamo iniziato a scattare e il risultato non era malvagio. Del resto non sono una che sa molto di fotografia quindi abbiate pietà di me. Se mio marito leggerà questo post dirà 'Si ma hai studiato il manuale Canon che ti ho scaricato?' Nooooo! Non ho (mai) tempo. Comunque, non mi posso lamentare primo perché la mia modella è stata fantastica (come al solito), secondo perché questo colore fluo è difficilissimo da rendere.

It was the first time I tried to take photos of my jewels at night, so with fingers crossed we started shooting and the result was not bad. After all I am not one who knows a lot about photography, so please, have mercy on me. If my husband will read this post will say 'Yes, but did you study the Canon manual that I've downloaded ?' Nooooo! I don't have (ever) time. However, I can't complain because first my model was fantastic (as usual), and secondly because this fluorescent color is very difficult to make.

Orecchini con frange verde fluo -Earrings fringed green-

Ciao! Oggi vi parlo di loro, di questi orecchini fluo verdi molto glam ed eleganti. Li ho chiamati Priest perché la loro forma richiama quella di un sacerdote in tunica e in verità li avevo in mente da quando ho realizzato loro.

Hello! Today I speak of them, of these green fluorescent earrings very glam and stylish. I've called Priest why their shape remind me that of a priest in robes, and actually I had in mind since I realize these.

Allora, vi spiego subito come son fatti.

Ho cercato di rendere questo gioiello completamente handmade realizzandolo con cura e rendendo unico ogni dettaglio. Sono partita dalle frange, tagliandole a mano da un lungo filo di corda, un lavoraccio ripagato dal fatto che la corda era meravigliosamente perfetta. Successivamente sono passata a cucire il sopra realizzando un doppio abitino, un particolare carré in nero composto da quattro punte che terminano con dei piccoli vetri a goccia e un colletto di perline rocailles verde rainbow.  Per entrambi ho utilizzato alternativamente le tecniche peyote ed herringbone.

Then, I describe them to you right away.

I tried to make this jewel completely handmade, realizing it carefully and making every single details by myself. I started from the fringes, cutting them by hand by a long green rope, an hard work paid off by the fact that the rope was wonderfully perfect .

Later I have sew the upper part of the earrings making a double "dress", a particular black geometric shape with four ends ending in small glass drops, and a collar of beads rocailles in green rainbow colors. For both works I utilized peyote and herringbone techniques.

Per il perno ho scelto delle rocailles di colore nero da lavorare a cerchio avanti e dietro. Una rondella di cristallo nero sfaccettato unisce tra loro tutti i componenti.

To cover the pin I have chose black round beads working them in circle. Black crystal faceted join togheterr all components.
